Welcome to Larkhill Garrison Nursery
We welcome children from all walks of life and abilities. We provide quality care and support for children aged from 12 months to school age. We have two play rooms: our Caterpillars are aged from 12 months to three years and our Butterflies are aged 3 years and above. We offer a breakfast club, with lashings of hot toast, soft croissant and fluffy pancakes and we also offer an additional hour at the end of the day, outside of session times, for families who require more flexibility.

We are part of the TNB Garrison Early Years & Play group of settings and as a result, we benefit from our in house training and the support we receive from working closely with the wide range of settings that make up TNB Garrison Early Years and Play. We pride ourselves on our links with the local community. We work closely with the local primary schools, the Health Visiting team, we also offer support to our families and encourage them to be part of our nursery family.

We take safeguarding the children extremely seriously and have designated safeguarding leads and deputies in place to support in this role. Please see our Safeguarding Children Young People and Vulnerable Adults policy.

We offer a wide range of activities for children of all abilities. We are a ‘free flow’ nursery, where children happily learn together and learn from each other. We encourage the children to be independent but also to help and respect others. We provide opportunities to explore a wide range of experiences, these include; Disco Dough, BLAST, science experiments, cookery sessions and music and movement, in addition to activities that support development in all areas (as found in the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum). We have a large outdoor learning environment including an exciting garden, with mud kitchen, play house, stage, sand pit, storytelling area, vegetable patch and much more. We also have our Secret Garden, full of grasses, a bug hotel and natural elements.

We have an open door policy and encourage children and families to come and visit us, to meet our team and learn about our ethos, what we do and how we do it. We look forward to welcoming you into our Larkhill Garrison Nursery family.
